Online shopping is replacing shopping in stores. Is it a positive or negative development?关于网购是否会最终取代实体店购物，这个趋势是好是坏，你怎么看?
Online shopping is becoming increasingly popular among consumers of various age groups, with the total sates soaring every year. It brings benefits to both sellers and buyers, although there are some concerns about this pattern.
For sellers, doing business online means a much wider market and their products can reach everywhere in the world. This is beneficial to buyers as well. With home-delivery service, they can stay at home and buy whatever they need, saving a great deal of lime and energy. In addition, online shopping makes it easier for consumers to compare the price of the goods and find bargains, without going from one store to another, as they used to do before. The competition between sellers would motivate them to improve the quality of their products and services, which conforms to the interests of consumers.
However, online shopping may expose consumers to risks. The first concern is the possibility of buying fake goods, as the transaction is done in the virtual space. Also, the loopholes on the web may lead to disclosure of personal information or even theft of identity. Another problem is irrational consumption. Shopping can be done at any time of the day or night, with various kinds of goods from all over the world available on the computer. Consumers may find it difficult to resist the temptation and end up in buying more things than they really need.
To sum up, online shopping is expected to grow rapidly and continuously, as it represents the selling-buying and in the future. If the cyber security could be improved, people would, be more satisfied with the experience of shopping on the web.
Shopping at home used to be a dream of ours, but now it has become a reality in our life thanks to the rapid development of the Internet. Many people today prefer online shopping rather than going to stores.
Online shopping has many advantages, especially when it is compared with the store shopping. Sitting comfortably at home, no matter how terrible the weather outside might be, and with a few simple clicks on our computer or smart phone screen, we can order almost everything we need from clothes to books and from electric appliances to air tickets. Then what we have to do is wait one or two days for the delivery of your order. The whole process is really easy and simple and thus can save us a lot of time, not to mention the reduced prices we often enjoy when we shop online.
Yet online shopping may create problems, too. First, as we cannot see the transaction going on with our own eyes, we may likely buy something that does not really suit us. We often hear our friends complain that they have to alter their expensive clothes bought online because it is too long or too short. To make it worse, to return our buy and get a different one is always a long and complicated process, which means we will lose the time we have gained from the online shopping. Secondly, unlike the store shopping, online shopping deprives us of the opportunities to spend a quality time together with our family members. I can still remember the excitement when my parents decided to take me to the supermarket to do the weekend shopping.
To sum up, the Internet does provide us with a new and convenient way of shopping, but we should not completely rely on it. We may opt for online shopping when it is necessary, yet I believe the brick and mortar stores will never be replaced by online stores because of the unique shopping experience they offer us. The bar charts compare the average amount of protein and calorie intake by people from four regions of the world.
It is noticeable that people in North America take most protein into their bodies, with 62 grams of animal protein and 18 grams of other protein and the overall quantity is almost double that of protein intake by Latin American (45grams). Meanwhile, their animal protein intake is approximately at half of that by North American. However, the intake of protein in India and East Africa is much less, at around 30 grams among which they share the same amount of other protein intake (15grams).
Regarding to average intake of calories, the figure for North America is over the ideal calorie intake, standing at 3500 kilocalories and for Latin America is 2800 kilocalories, close to ideal intake ( 3000 kilocalories). By contrast, there are only 2000 kilocalories intake for people in India.
Overall, it can be seen that average intake of protein and calories of North American both exceed the ideal standards whereas that for Indian are the lowest among those areas.(182 words)
